Scholarships and Graduation Time

It’s the end of the school year with many graduation ceremonies taking place! Our Councillor Jolleen Dick is the Education Portfolio holder, taking over from Jim Tatoosh.

The first graduation ceremony this school year took place on June 4th where Jolleen attended and delivered a keynote speech to 56 Aboriginal Graduates at the ADSS Aboriginal Grad Ceremony. Hupačasath has worked with Ryan Dvorak and Project Based Learning in the past and their Graduation was last week on June 9th. North Island College graduation is coming up on Tuesday June 16th and Alberni District Secondary School’s Graduation is on Friday June 26th. Finally, the Nuu-chah-nulth scholarship and graduation ceremonies are taking place on Saturday July 4th, at the Alberni Athletic Hall.

With that being said, make sure to apply for these scholarships! Deadline has been extended to Wednesday June 17th, 2015. Please use these forms to RSVP to the Scholarship Ceremony (10:30 am -12:00 pm) and Graduation Ceremony (1:30 pm – 3:00 pm) held at the Alberni Athletic Hall.
